  1. St. Louis Football Cardinals made sense though People would say that to distinguish the two teams. There was a team when the in thing to do was to name football teams after baseball teams. There used to be two New York Giants. In fact New York Football Giants is still the legal name of the team.
  2. He is not a fullback There is not one fullback in the NFL drafted in the first round. I think Rob Konrad might have been but I am not sure if he is still in the league. The highest drafted fullback in the league is probably Brian Leonard. You clearly do not understand the running back position. Every thing you described is a halfback in the NFL. Rashard is a good blocker but would not be a good leading blocker like a Jason McKie or Lorenzo Neal. If any team were to draft Rashard and make him a fullback they would be laughed out of the NFL.
  3. Um they have him pegged as a RB Why don't you watch this? http://www.bigtennetwork.com/videos/illinois.asp http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=56664
  4. No we all think he has good hands, can block, and can run powerfully Those are all attributes of NFL RBs. Just like a Ronnie Brown, LT, Edgerrin James, or Larry Johnson. You said Rashard has no "wiggle." That is just stupid and shows that you haven't seen him play.
  5. He doesn't have a lot of "wiggle" in his run? Have you seen him play? He probably has the most "wiggle" in the Big Ten. In fact the Big Ten Network did a segment on his amazing "wiggle." And all those things you listed make him a prototypical rb in the NFL.
  6. That must be a typo in the USF article He talks about transfering to them, but then says he is not allowed to?
  7. How is he a fullback? Not even close
  8. mention Illinois as one of three schools considering. http://www.gatorcountry.com/football/artic...es_florida/2778 rivals profile http://florida.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp...=1&pr_key=35904
  9. Has this Locker Room sign been discussed?

The latest is he is rehabbing his knee and taking a redshirt So not much new
  10. Torn chest muscle. :lol :lol :lol :lol
  11. I see Rashard at best the #3 back this year McFadden and Stewart will be above him and Rashard wil have to compete with Slaton and possibly Felix Jones for the #3 spot. There will be a lot of questions about Rashards production. WIU 23 carries 139 yards 1 td Syracuse 16 carries 150 yards 3 td IU 27 carries 214 yards 1 td UW 19 carries 160 yards 2 td Ball St 28 carries 189 2 td Min 17 carries 201 yards 2 td NU 27 carries 124 yards 2 td Mizzou 11 carries 33 yards 2 td PSU 18 carries 76 yards 1 td Iowa 15 carries 67 yards 0 td Mich 18 carries 85 yards 0 td OSU 26 carries 88 yards 0 td
  12. Benson update

You realize Benson is having pretty much an equivalent year to Jones
  13. You don't think it benefits him to come back another year? Rashard probably is a late 1st/early 2nd right now. If he came back he could be the #1 back next year.
