Apparently that's what they're saying, yes. Actually I think it is probably silly to try and hold any major sporting events in Florida for the next few weeks. The entire State will be a damned mess and trying to pick up the pieces I would think.

Tampa really got spared. There will be debris and resources might be stretched, so they could still move the game, but overall it's not going to be nearly as bad as feared.

Sounds like USF is trying to make the game happen. There are power and utility issues, but in the end the middle of the state didn't get hit that bad, at least by Florida hurricane standards. Thankfully this was nowhere near the catastrophic event that was feared.

Have they made a decision? If the Bucs are planning to host the Bears this weekend I would think that means the stadium would be good for a Friday night game.

I hope we don't get our asses kicked, crouch needs to make sure some passes that were dropped last game early on get completed... he seemed to have found a rhythm after the first quarter or so

He definitely needs to get off to a better start. At one point Saturday I looked at the scoreboard and we had -1 yard passing. :doh

The last time an Illinois team played a team facing adversity, we got crushed in the BTT by a bunch of guys in practice uniforms. Hope the law of averages is on our side....

So, this game may propel USF to greatness this season like Michigan bball last year?

Actually, I like to see that Tampa is going to be able to host the Illini and Bears.

While it would have helped both to have moved to a neutral site, it is a good thing that the games are not moved.

Hopefully the Tampa area, and all Florida gets back on track soon.

And hopefully, one or both of the visitors can pull out a win.

Raymond James Stadium would have to be in ruins before they'd pass up the opportunity for two easy wins
